Topshelf has been a small rider owned and run company since 2002 and continues this theme in 2007 by becoming part of one of the South East's top Independent Bike Shops, Evolution Cycles, in Eastbourne. The aim of Topshelf was always to be rider run and owned, with the purpose of sourcing top quality, top performance, lesser known brand frames and components for the discerning rider. Topshelf is continuing with this ethos but with the new ability to offer a better range at better prices and not just brands we import, but brands and products we feel are under represented in the UK. For 2007 we are continuing to import and promote Aireal components, who are also under new ownership, and producing better parts than ever. We have also added Bontragers excellent parts to our range as well as Trek's superb GoBug child trailersa, probably the best and all of this at a sensible price. We are also working on sourcing more great products and stepping up our handbuilt Aireal wheels whilst growing our shop to meet local riders needs, feel free to vist! Topshelf doesn’t have a major high profile race team and a massive marketing budget to promote its products. Topshelf doesn’t have an army of staff to sell its products instead, Topshelf relies on word of mouth from satisfied customers, good reviews, and it’s level of service and value to help grow. The journey hasn’t been easy but nearly 5 years later Topshelf is still here and stronger than ever with an increasing range of products from brilliant rider owned designers and manufacturers who are great to deal with combined with this exciting new website.
